Guinean Delegation Arrives in Tripoli for CEN-SAD Youth Ministerial
A high-level delegation from Guinea’s Ministry of Youth and Sports touched down in the Libyan capital on Saturday, joining counterparts from across the Sahel and Saharan regions for the 4th Council of Youth and Sports Ministers of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).
The Guinean officials were welcomed at Mitiga International Airport by representatives from Libya’s youth ministry and the CEN-SAD Executive Secretariat.
They have arrived to take part in the preparatory experts’ meetings in Tripoli, laying the groundwork for the 4th CEN-SAD Youth and Sports Ministerial set to commence on Tuesday.
Key items on the agenda include fostering entrepreneurship opportunities for youth, vocational training initiatives, sustainable development, stemming irregular migration flows, and catalyzing investment to upgrade sports facilities across the region.
Cross-border cooperation, harmonization of policies, and forging multi-stakeholder partnerships in these pivotal domains will also feature prominently in the discussions.
