On behalf of Libya’s Government of National Unity, I am honored to welcome you to this crucial gathering of Youth and Sports Ministers. Hosting this event is a source of pride, as it represents an important milestone in enhancing cooperation to empower youth and leverage their role in sustainable development.

Young people are the foundation of our future. Investing in their potential and providing the right environment is a top priority. This meeting is a vital platform to exchange experiences, develop youth programs, and explore partnerships to enhance training, cultural and sports exchanges across the region.

The Libyan Ministry of Youth is working to improve infrastructure and policies to engage young people. We are confident that strengthening regional coordination will help achieve these goals and elevate support for our youth.
